FAQ

Questions before you build a pack?

Here are the practical bits: what to tell us, who sees what, how the pack gets made, and what you need to print and play.

Getting started

What is BanterBox?

BanterBox is a personalised printable party game pack. You share a few details about the guest of honour, and we build proper games around the person and the group.

What occasions does it cover?

BanterBox works for hens and bachelorette nights, bucks and bachelor nights, birthdays, farewells, wedding weekends, work events, family gatherings and other celebrations.

How many people do I need?

Most games work best with a small group or bigger. Bet Your Mate and The Pitch start at 3 players, Majority Rules and Sketchy Business start at 4, The Outsider starts at 5, and Secret Missions starts at 6.

What details should I provide?

Names, interests, hobbies, favourite things, habits, inside jokes, stories, places, catchphrases and anything the group would recognise. One good detail helps, and more detail makes the pack feel more personal.

Personalisation and privacy

Who can see contributor answers?

Contributor answers are used to build the games. The organiser can see who contributed, but individual answers stay private and are not shown to the guest of honour as raw submissions.

Does the guest of honour see anything early?

No. The guest of honour does not see contributor answers or the finished games until the organiser chooses to share or play the pack.

Is this AI generated?

We use AI to help put the games together fast, but every question and card is built from what you actually tell us about the guest of honour. It is not a canned trivia deck.

What happens to the details we submit?

We keep what you and your group share only to build and let you reprint the pack. We don't sell it or hand it to anyone else. Want it gone? Ask and we'll delete your pack and its data. Full detail in our Privacy policy.

How long does generation take?

The free preview is built in seconds. After payment, the full pack usually takes a few minutes to generate, render and prepare for download.

Payment and access

Is it a one time payment?

Yes. BanterBox is a one-time purchase for the pack you choose. There is no subscription.

What's the difference between Party Pack and Full Box?

Party Pack gets you 3 games picked for your event and your crowd, swap any of them before you pay. Full Box gets you all 6. Both are one time, tax included, no subscription.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payment runs through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How do I get back into my pack after I pay?

We email a magic link tied to your pack, no password needed. Click it any time to check progress or download again.

Can contributors see my pack or my payment page?

No. Contributors get a private link that only lets them add stories. It doesn't open your pack, your preview, or checkout.

Can we replay the pack?

Yes. You can print extra copies, replay games and keep the pack for future rounds with the same group.

What if the pack is not right?

Tell us what feels off at [email protected], and we will sort it out.

Printing and setup

What do I need to print the pack?

A normal home or office printer and standard A4 or Letter paper are enough. Cardstock makes the cards feel sturdier, and laminating is optional if you want to reuse pieces.

How do I cut everything out?

Print the PDF, then cut along the card outlines with scissors or a paper cutter. You do not need special equipment.

Do any games need extra materials?

Some games are better with a few simple extras, like pens, blank drawing paper, dice or tokens. The pack tells you what to grab before each game.
